The Friends on Main shop in Cuero just started carrying our lip balms, healing salves, and body scrubs! Ben and I made a road trip of it. Delivered the products, checked out the cute shop, went out to lunch, and stopped off at Buc-ee’s for candies. Love when I can mix fun with the kids with some business lessons. Ben participated in the livestock show again! Raised another 25 chicks for the last several weeks, spent an afternoon in the ring, and put on quite a show at the auction. He is quite the showman, and is so excited about all the great bids he received!

We signed up for the Farmers Market at the Cibolo… and plan to join the vendors there every Saturday that we’re available. And I got my food handlers license, so I will also be able to sell food items in addition to our body products!

Ben participated in his very first stock show! After raising his 25 chicks for the last several weeks, he spent one afternoon in the ring (showing three of his chickens and then competing for the showmanship award) and then an evening at the auction. He did wonderfully, and is so proud of himself!

We participated in our first big vendor event- the Boerne Handmade Market. I spent an entire week preparing, making, and labeling our products. The boys were a huge help unloading, setting up, handing out pamphlets, and visiting with customers. And… the community welcomed us with open arms; everyone wanted to hear all about our products; the samples were a big hit; sales were great!
