It was a glorious day!!! We skipped watching the rodeo this time, in exchange for checking out every single barn and exhibit... and participating in the competitions! We had never attended the 4-H expo before. Dozens of clubs showed up to hand out information about their groups and provide games, snacks, or take-aways for all the kids that stopped by. It was our first time to enter the fair. And we went BIG! Our first drop-off was all of the boys' photography. Then I entered a bunch of baking. The boys entered Legos and woodworking. Ben participated in the livestock show again! Raised another 25 chicks for the last several weeks, spent an afternoon in the ring, and put on quite a show at the auction. He is quite the showman, and is so excited about all the great bids he received!

Ben participated in his very first stock show! After raising his 25 chicks for the last several weeks, he spent one afternoon in the ring (showing three of his chickens and then competing for the showmanship award) and then an evening at the auction. He did wonderfully, and is so proud of himself!
