Best Summer Ever!!!

Well, that’s what the San Antonio Magazine is advertising.  I don’t necessarily have the time or budget to make it the best summer ever… but I’m going to make sure it definitely has its moments!

The first thing I decided to do was make a list of all the things the kids could work on during down-time (or when they say they’re bored).  The list includes everything from fun to mundane, including but not limited to- bathing the dog, cleaning their rooms, putting laundry away, mowing the yard, watering plants, reading books, putting together a puzzle, going biking, drawing a masterpiece, taking pictures for photo contests, baking goodies, helping me plan our weekly menu, going over to a friend’s house.  And to make sure they at least had one of these readily available to them yesterday, we picked the first puzzle we wanted to start.  A 1,000 piece farm-themed puzzle with beautiful photography and cute animals!  (no surprise there)  😉

And then I made a list of a number of outings that we could tackle throughout the summer.  From cheap and local to more expensive and out of town, these covered all kinds of fun.  Here’s our list.  What would you add???
