It was our first time to enter the fair. And we went BIG!
Our first drop-off was all of the boys’ photography. Then I entered a bunch of baking. The boys entered Legos and woodworking. And the big kick-off day (after we participated in the parade), we brought four chickens up to the barn for judging.
All our hard work, time, blood, and sweat:
I won first, second, and third places for baking. Plus, my cinnamon rolls won BEST OF DIVISION!!!
Ben won first, second, and third places for his photography and Lego creations.
Evan won first, second, and this places for his photography. Plus, he won a BEST OF DIVISION for his picture of one of our chickens…. and he won GRAND CHAMPION with our sweet hen, Fudge!!! A big purple ribbon, a HUGE belt buckle, and a smile even bigger. We couldn’t have been more excited for him. Or more proud.
