Just wrapped up the inaugural Hill Country Handmade Market!
Organized by the ladies that run my favorite Boerne Handmade Market, this was a little branch off from that. Their idea is that this market will be in a different location each year. This year was just down the road in Comfort.
Since we were in the back yard of the 8th Street Market, unloading and set-up was so easy and convenient. I almost got to back my truck right into my spot. Sweet!
The first part of the event was a VIP Night on Friday. Perfect weather, perfect lighting (thanks to the string party lights they strung for us), perfect night. The VIPs were treated to food, wine, a firepit, and the advantage of getting to shop first. And we vendors were treated to amazing sales! Friday night was a busy and FUN!
The second part of the event was all day Saturday. The traffic was slower, and the weather was warmer. But still a great day to get to know our customers… and other vendors.
I’m sure you’d love to know more about the 8th Street Market, its beautiful building, all the cool and unique antiques that fill its walls….
And I’m sure you’ll want to keep up with when and where the next Hill Country Handmade Market will pop up…
