The Boerne Retailers’ Style Show & Shopping Event is a little idea… that we’ve been dreaming up all year… that is going to be a smashing evening full of fun, eats, drinks, shopping, and fashion!
Taking place at the beautiful new Bevy Hotel, on Saturday September 21st. Doors will open at 5:45, with a few great selfie opportunities. Then guests will be treated to a delicious cocktail hour and incredible shopping with our pop-up shops. After, the evening turns to our exciting fashion show (with all of our best fall styles) and raffle drawings (from businesses all over the hill country area).
It’s an evening you don’t want to miss!
BEHIND THE SCENES:
So far, Emily (from The Christmas Shoppe), Ashley (from Joli Boutique), and I have been handling all the details, making all the initial decisions, doing the dreaming, and designing all of the advertising… as other shops and boutiques have been busy signing up for the event!
We’ve had meetings with a local professional model (to help us through logistics of the evening)… and The Boerne Star and The Texas Wildflower Magazine (both to help us get the word out into the community)!
And then we had our monthly meeting, where lots of us came together to discuss what to expect from here. How we still need sponsors, how other details are falling into place, the status of our new shop small t-shirts (and us wearing them in the upcoming Kendall County Fair parade), how we’ll have a booth at San Antonio Magazine‘s Sweat SA event, and more! {with an added bonus of Mexican hot chocolate cookies homemade by Emily}
And now we’re back to business, working on all the details that need to come together in the last six weeks!
