Let There Be Workshops!!! Let There Be Markets!!!

I’m ready!  And even though it’s way fewer than what I should be participating in at this time of year…. let’s do this!

Friday, August 21st
St. Paul’s Square from 6:oo to 9:00
Free outdoor market, with some of the best pop-ups from the area.

Sunday, August 30th
8/30 IN THE 830
Handmade on Main from 4:00 to 9:00
4:00 to 6:00.  Learn the science and fun behind bath bombs.  Make and take four of your own fun creations, to enjoy at home.  Plus, take advantage of your own private shopping time in the store.
7:00 to 9:00.  Learn the science behind colognes and the benefits of essential oils.  Make and take two of your own rollerball cologne concoctions.  And enjoy your own private shopping time in the store.
$20 per person, per class.  Class sizes will be kept to just 8 attendees.
This is my own event, so I’ll talk a little more about it.  1- Masks will be required of everyone.  2- Both classes are appropriate for adults.  The bath bombs class would be fun for kids too.  3- I’d love for this event to turn into a Boerne-wide or area code-wide celebration of the hill country’s small businesses, artists, and makers.  This year, I wasn’t able to make much of the idea at all (thanks to covid).  But I’m hoping to be announcing a bunch of participating businesses being open, artists and makers creating throughout town, sidewalk chalk art fun, face painting, and more for 2021.

You can register on our website now!  Just click on the HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS collection.  Add a class to your cart, and check out.

Thursday, September 24th to Saturday, September 26th
Summit Christian Center, Time to be announced
Look to their website for continued/updated information about the cost, conference, speakers, fellowship opportunities, and the market.

Saturday, October 3rd
8th Street Market from 9:00 to 5:00
Free outdoor market, with some of the best upcycled, vintage, handmade, and unique products from across the hill country.

And there will be more!  In-person (I hope) and virtual.  October to December should be busy!  Just keep a lookout for more blog posts and social media announcements…
