I’m Amy. My biggest titles are “mom” and “maker.” I’m also the chef, driver, photographer, developer, tester, bottler, labeler, social media manager, store owner, maid, pet caretaker, co-op director, blogger, order fulfillment associate, employee, and more! 😉
Mom- I’ve now been a mom for 19 years. All of those years, I’ve wanted nothing but the best for my boys. I’ve changed what we eat and what products we use. I’ve tried so hard to eliminate processed foods and toxins from our home. And as a single mom for the last 7 years, I’ve wanted nothing more but to be around as much as I can for the boys, and to set a good example for them.
So I’m a maker too- For 8 years. Of natural, non-toxic, pampering, sudsy, moisturizing, detoxifying, eco-friendly, cleansing, and hydrating home, bath, and body products. To make a difference.

JOYFUL HOME STUDIO
Hello, my name is Ana & I am the creator behind Joyful Home Studio. I was once working in the corporate world, and missing out on so much of my kiddos’ lives – or so it felt. My husband and I took a leap of faith and moved to the Texas Hill Country 3 years ago. The main purpose of our move was to do more of what makes us happy & fills us with joy. We have been able to spend more time as a family, and I had the opportunity to pursue this business, which is a passion of mine, and a dream come true! I love all things design – home, accessories, apparel, the list goes on! Designing and creating is such fun for me, I find it relaxing & so fulfilling. Thus, I want to encourage you, for National Handmade Day, to make something with your own hands. Put your creativity to work, you may find it warms your heart, brings you energy, or it might just be the little distraction you need from the crazy, busy world around us! As a suggestion, I have included in my space at Handmade on Main, some “DIY Craft Kits” ($12 ea). It is a simple craft that young kids and adults alike can make, all you need from home is some paint, or markers, or crayons, and glue. CRAZY PLANT LOVEE
My small handmade business, like many others, started as a hobby turned business. I was using anything and everything as a planter and quickly filled up my windowsills. I would upcycle old bottles, jugs, cans, toys, anything I could get my hands on and I will find a way to put a plant in it! One of my favorite aspects of by business is being able to repurpose things and bring life to them again!

My journey to being a handmade maker began as a child and I didn’t even realize it at the time. My childhood was filled with watching my mom sew and paint ceramics and my dad doing all sorts of woodworking projects.
My love and passion of all things crafty turned into a business in 2014 while working on my daughter’s wedding. My business started on 2 TV trays in an RV while we traveled the country for my husband’s work. I love looking back at how it all started and how my passion has evolved into a thriving handmade business.
Supporting handmade makers is so very important to me. Appreciating the long hours, the sacrifices, the trial and error, and the heart that goes into their business is so crucial. With the creation of National Handmade Day, people have a chance to really undertand and reflect on how special handmade is.

Hello, I am Stacey, owner and creator behind Sola & Stem Wood Florals. I specialize in creating flower arrangements and home decor gifts with Sola Wood flowers. Sola wood flowers are flowers made from the shola plant or root of the tapioca plant, they are eco friendly and sustainable and with very little care they will last for years.
I am a wife of 25 years and a mother to two amazing humans. During the day I work as a clinical pharmacist helping take care of our frail and elderly in long term care.
Being a hand maker started for me as a child watching my mother and grand mother craft and hand make special things. I have “dabbled” in many crafts through the years but discovered and fell in love with Sola Wood Flowers in 2020. When I discovered sola wood flowers I discovered my passion of bringing a little beauty into as many lives as I can.
