There’s never been a better, or easier, time… for at-home spa days!
Many of us are uneasy about going into places, staying for long periods of time, or spending that time with a mask off. So why not try your hand at doing your own pampering, from the comfort and safety of your own home?
FACE SCRUBBIES
The face scrubbies that I carry are a great place to start. Made with the softest material, but with amazing cleansing power, these rounds are great at removing dirt and make-up. With just warm water. So get that face clean!
{These are perfect to use every time you wash your face.}
CLAY FACE MASKS
I just posted about these earlier this week. Made with bentonite clay, lavender essential oil, frankincense essential oil, and tea tree essential oil… this mask is perfect for lots of skin types and skin problems. It’s hydrating, without making your face oily. It’s smoothing, pampering, will give your skin a glow.
How to use:
Using a non-metal bowl and spoon, mix 2 teaspoons mask with 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar (or dilute with water, if eyes are sensitive to ACV). Apply fresh mask to face, using a mask brush or spatula. Let it detoxify, work its magic, and dry for 5-15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
We also carry beautiful bamboo face mask brush sets. Perfect for pairing with our clay face masks!
{Our clay face masks can be used as often as once to twice a week. I’ll be honest, though, I only get to it once or twice a month. Do what you can.}
FACIAL TONER
I haven’t announced it yet. But I’ve developed a facial toner! With the same wonderful essential oils as our face masks! Distilled water, witch hazel. Plus lavender, frankincense, and tea tree essential oils. A wonderful, soothing, cleansing, pore-reducing astringent.
After that clay face mask, you can follow it up with this, to further soothe and pamper your skin.
{Great to use morning and evening, after washing your face or preparing for make-up.}
FACIAL OIL
I haven’t announced this either. But I developed a facial oil too! With the same amazing essential oils as our face masks and toner. Score! Jojoba oil, rosehip oil, lavender essential oil, frankincense essential oil, and tea tree essential oil. A moisturizing, hydrating, and soothing oil. I’ve completely replaced my old store-bought moisturizer with this!
Perfect to wrap up your at-home spa day!!!
{It’s fine to use morning and evening, after our new facial toner.}
Of course, there’s lots more you can do for a spa day. This is just a focus on facials. We’ll get around to all the other fun stuff on another day. And I’ll be sharing more about my actual daily facial routine soon!
