Deconstructing Again!

So now I'm deconstructing my hand cleansers! (our germ-fighting, antibacterial, moisturizing, sanitizer sprays) Ingredients: isopropyl alcohol, aloe vera liquid, vitamin E oil, lemon essential oil, doTERRA's OnGuard essential oils blend   ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL For our hand sanitizer, our recipe had to be formulated around 70% alcohol.  That's probably the only thing you want to have that much isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) in it.  😉  But what else can you do…

What Else Can You Make?

A few days ago I posted about our wild rose MILK BATH.  Made with just powdered goats milk, epsom salt, and rose essential oil... it's an incredibly luxurious, hydrating, pampering, moisturizing, and wonderful self-care product! Today, I wanted to talk about the ingredients.  And what else you might be able to DIY around the house, with these items.         POWDERED GOATS MILK For me, I only use…

After I founded this wonderful national holiday a few years ago, and got to celebrate it twice in my shop, tomorrow is definitely not going to be the big event that I dreamed of.  But here we go, pivoting again!   Our five amazing vendors at Handmade on Main, plus our sweet neighbors, are having a fun online party!  Each of us will be taking over Handmade on Main's social…

I’m Published! With Kendall County Woman Magazine! (again) 😁

I'm still doing it!  I'm saying YES to things, before I say no.  Even scary things. I've sucked it up... to appear on morning shows, to submit my products to HEB, to being a magazine cover story.  To even writing my third published article!  But this one was really easy.  It was all about the importance of supporting and shopping handmade! {SO thankful for this opportunity with Kendall County Woman Magazine.}…

Last night I received this message from Quickbooks....     And with all the uncertainty ahead of us, closing our doors on Saturday, and no promise of continued online orders.... I decided to go for it! Our shop now has a GoFundMe page.  On one hand, money raised can simply go to helping us pay rent, and be able to open our doors again (when the time comes).  On the…
